Honey to my soul

"The decrees of the LORD are firm, and all of them are righteous. They are more precious than gold, than much pure gold; they are sweeter than honey, than honey from the honeycomb."

In Sunday School, we talked about the law of God, and how we can see love in it.
My leader, of sorts, talked about how when she saw the Jewish, living in her building, she saw their hopelessness.

She saw it in their eyes, as she walked by them.

Their misery, of trying, of living, to obey the law.

And how, as followers of Christ, the law, we can see that it is
love.

She said, when she prayed, that God was whispering over us, "I love you, I love you."
My eyes filled with tears at the thought of that.

The law. It is what we have failed to do, but Jesus has fulfilled.

It is sweeter than honey.
